On December 2012 people around the world might get nightmares, reason being the much talked about predictions on the World Coming to an End. is it true that World Come to an End on 2012 ? or Are we going to die ?  These silly question are going to pop up in our mind just like the unwanted ads on computer screen.

A small research on “End of the World”  would reveal to you many views and historical references that many people around the world have predicted including the well known Scientist Newton. Also every other religion digging up the old books and scripts to find out the answers.

In this post i have made an attempt to integrate two repulsive forces Science and Religion.

Since there are many views and beliefs about December 21, i have done a small research and tried to put some interesting facts like the Views of different Religions, thoughts of some Worlds great personas and of course the scientific Point of view at the end. however ill cover them gradually.

The most curious part of all this predictions is the most common part that is involved.
All the religions and all the prediction made about the dooms day have some how pointed to the same date and time.I personally don’t believe that there could be such a co incidence about 21st December 2012. But this facts and figures does

FACTS:

• 3 pyramids of Giza are aligned perfectly to match the three stars in the belt of Orion.The message is about the disaster.
• Ancient Chinese says that earth will end on 2012
• English prophetess Mother Shipton predicted doomsday in 2012 in 16th Century
• Mayan calendar will complete its thirteenth cycle
• All major religions Christians,Islam,Hindu,Judaism,Chinese, Buddhism and some more points to the same date
• Well known scientist and great personalities like Nostradamus have made this predictions long ago

Christians Beliefs:

“And this Gospel of the Kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; & then shall the End come.” (Matthew 24:14)”

Jesus tells his disciples that certain events will herald the end of the world they are as follows

Christians believe that it refers to the end of an era in which the good will be separated from the evil eternally and those who lived accordingly to the sacred teachings will be sent to heaven after being resurrected.

Islamic Beliefs:

You will follow the practices of those who were before you, step by step, foot by foot, so much so that if one of them goes into the hole of a lizard you will follow.

God will take up the knowledge, not by removing it from the minds of people, but by taking possession of the knowledgeable. Then the people will call on the ignorant to inform them, and they will go astray and lead astray.
The people will get up in the morning to carry on trade and there will be hardly anyone who will fulfil their bargain. More Details here

Hindus Beliefs:

The four yugas or ages described in the Bhagavad Gita (8.17) and the Srimad Bhagavatam (3.11.19) are satya/krita yuga for first 100, 000 years, treta yuga for next 1.296 million years and Dvapara yuga for 864, 000 years and the last kali yuga for 432, 000 years. In Kali yuga people live for upto 100 years and will be engaged in irreligious practices solely for sense gratification/kama. People in the age of Kali will be lazy, quarrelsome, greedy and deceitful.

The end of kali yuga is marked by the arrival of ‘kalki’ the last incarnation of Vishnu. The 10th avatar of God. Also it is interesting to find a coincidence that the 10th planet or planet X was named Kalki.

The last avatar of God, Kalki will ride a white horse and would punish all the people who were sinful. Bhavishya purana meaning story about the future is a book of predictions written by valmiki who has also written Mahabharatha has predicted the birth of Jesus, Allah and many other kings.

Though it would be only around 5000 + years since kali yuga begun by 2012, it marks a golden age after destruction. The year 2012 will bring incessant rain and flood.

But I feel that most of them believe that Nothing bad will happen to the Earth in 2012, credible scientists worldwide know of no threat associated with it.
But what lies beneath can be known only after we reach 21 December 2012.
